Forbidden Ground

Originally published in hardback in 1997, a tale about a teenage girl, Hannah, from a strict Muslim family who meets an older boy and falls in love with him. The two meet in secret after school, but in the end Hannah decides to say goodbye to her friend, and though her decision saddens her, she finds that it has strengthened her.
