The Piggle: Account of the Psychoanalytic Treatment of a Little Girl (Pelican)

The Piggle presents the verbatim account of the treatment of a little girl nicknamed "The Piggle." The child, who was seen on demand" because she lived a considerable distance from Winnicott's office, was a little over two years old at the inception of treatment, which took three years. Besides the accounts of the treatment sessions, The Piggle includes illuminating excerpts from letters written to the analyst by the child's parents and invaluable commentary by Dr. Winnicott.
