As a demystifier of the mechanical and electrical apparatus in our lives, this helps counter our sense of their inscrutable and disposable nature. For each ailing piece of equipment, a troubleshooting guide lists a range of symptoms. Next to these is a list of recommended repairs with indication of their degree of difficulty and time for completion. Each repair procedure is then thoroughly explicated with a well-illustrated series of instructions.
