Prentice Hall Literature Texas Edition (Readers Notebook, Grade Nine)

This is the workbook to accompany the Prentice Hall Literature textbook for ninth grade. This is the "Texas Edition," meaning that the materials are aligned to the Texas state standards (TEKS) rather than to common core. If you are homeschooling, I doubt that this would make much difference; the names of the learning standards would just be different. For example, the part of the book that deals with the Odyssey focuses on teaching about the use of nonlinear plot techniques, such as multiple timelines and flashbacks. This is true whether you have the Texas Edition or some other edition. In the Texas edition, this learning objective is labeled TEKS ELA-9.5(A), while in a Common Core edition it would be labeled CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.5.
