This Basic Version (comprising chapters 1-17 plus chapter 31) covers fundamental principles and processes that pertain to American Government and politics at all levels. The National Version (comprising chapters 1-21 plus chapter 31) includes all the material found in the Basic Version with four additional chapters on functions, policies, and programmes of the National government. The National/State/Local Version (chapters 1-31) includes all material found in the National version plus nine chapters examining governmental politics on state and local levels. A Texas Version is also available, comprising all the material found in the National Version plus eight chapters examining Texas State and politics.
