Introduction to 3-D Spatial Visualization

Intended for first-year undergraduate level, this activities-based tutorial is specifically designed to help students develop their 3-D spatial visualization skills. It offers a multidisciplinary approach drawing applications from such fields as engineering, chemistry, crystallography, mathematics, and architecture, progressing systematically and gradually through hands-on physical model activities, paper and pencil activities, and (optional) computer activities. It discusses careers utilizing 3-D spatial visualization, poses, discusses, and works sample problems in each section and features excellent graphics throughout.
