Other new features that Yoder (psychology, U. of Akron) points out are a more holistic view of sex-gender and nature-nurture interfaces; evolutionary, psychoanalytic, and sociocognitive explanations of documented sex differences "palatable to a feminist framework"; and recent data supporting trends (e.g., the wage gap) previously discussed. A third iteration is anticipated, as DSM-V is expected to still contain gendered diagnostic patterns and impact guidelines for counseling and psychotherapy with women. Annotation c.
