Applied structural steel design

The second edition has been updated to conform to the latest (9th) edition of the AISC Steel Construction Manual and the 1989 Specification for Structural Steel Buildings. The practical problem/solution-oriented approach to the design, analysis, and detailing of structural steel established in the first edition has been maintained. It is written at a mathematical level appropriate for engineering technology.
