The Wonderful Journey

First published in 1999, this is the story of Sam's grandma who came to live with his family a long time ago from Africa. But now she wants to return to the land of her birth. Many times, in their imaginations, Sam and Gran have flown to her childhood home, and when the time comes for Gran to leave, she reminds him to visit her in his imagination.
