The Tarrasch Defense to the Queen's Gambit Declined, which arises after 1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 c5 is one of the most flexible systems at Black's disposal. It has been played by Paul Keres and by World Chess Champions Boris Spassky and Garry Kasparov. This new edition adds a number of illustrative games featuring many of the key variations.
