Welcome to the Primer on Ethics! This little book is provided as a companion toyour Research text to help advance your knowledge of values and ethics and to further build your skills and confidence in ethical decision framerwork for decision making, and we'll discuss strategies for overcoming some of the obstacles to acting ethically. We'll then review some of the challenges you are likely to encounter either as a beginning social worker or presented with a variety of dilemmas, followed by a discussion about how to successfully examine and resolve them. The book ends with a variety of Internet resources on ethics that may be of interest to you at this stage in your professional development.
