Interactions Access: A Communicative Grammar

Part of a three-book programme designed to help beginners on an ESL programme to develop functional language abilities. The components of the programme - grammar, reading and writing, and listening and speaking - share a common thematic and grammatical organization. This volume leads students through grammar in a way that builds up from simple to more complex material, basic grammatical features recurring throughout the text in a variety of contexts. A series of exercises proceeds from a strictly controlled to a more open-ended approach.
