The Humanities Through the Arts

This humanities text takes a topical, exploratory approach, emphasizing participation and involvement as a means to a more complete understanding of the arts. Covering film, dance, photography, painting, sculpture, architecture, literature, and music, "Humanities through the arts" focuses on how the humanities and the arts relate to one another and to human values in general. It is used in interdisciplinary undergraduate courses offered in the departments of humanities, philosophy, English, and education.
