Parish Priest: Father Michael Mcgivney and American Catholicism

Nearly every day, in towns and cities across the world, groups of Catholic laymen known as the Knights of Columbus gather together. In the mid-19th century Father Michael J. McGivney dedicated his life to the spiritual and physical welfare of others, creating the K of C to provide insurance for the protection of widows and orphans. This devout, hardworking man of God saw strong family as the foundation of his parish, the church, and society itself.
