From the Preface: This volume is neither a critical introduction to the New Testament nor an attempt at a biblical theology. It is an exposition of the New Testament message, written from an evangelical perspective. It is designed first for the university student but then for any others, laity or clergy, who desire a framework by which to strengthen their grasp of the biblical materials.
