This book is based on Volumes 1-19 of "The Papers of Thomas Jefferson", edited by Julian P. Boyd and others, published by Princeton University press. The texts of documents published in the edition have been obtained from photocopies in the files of "The Papers of Thomas Jefferson", made from original manuscripts located in various public repositories.
