Packaged with the textbook at no additional charge, this CD-ROM delivers interactive exercises for each of the 55 chapters in the book, as well as "mini-simulations" for each part. ("Mini-simulations" simulate the laboratory by allowing the student to establish parameters and predict outcomes.) Many of these interactive exercises and mini-simulations are supported by animations derived from art that is in the text; text art is also the basis for many of the chapter-specific exercises.
