It includes exten sive bibliographic data, plus author and subject indexes. Most of the chapters are well conceived and well written; es pecially noteworthy are "Philosophy of Teaching" by Maxine Green and "Re search on Teacher Education" by Ju dith E. Lanier and Judith W.
