Power and Policy in the Third World

This book is an attempt to communicate to today's American college student my understanding of the obstacles that block the progress of the Third World toward increased material well-being and increased power over their own destinies (personal as well as national). The objects of my analysis are the developing countries of Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
