Hand-drawn, hand-lettered and printed from copper engraved plates, the maps of Bartholomew & Sons' Practical Motorist's Touring Maps and Gazetteer (1897-1903) showed roads, railways, canals and settlements as they were 100 years ago. This reprint edition has been created from the original maps (on a slightly enlarged scale) and the gazetteer index. The Atlas is bound in gilt-embossed dark blue linen, with gilt-edged pages and silk marker. Exclusive to Postscript.
