The author recalls his ardent youth, spiritual asceticism and burning desire. Neither passion nor rigor but both at the same time, a very singular path emerges in the text. It is a history of his contracting HIV-AIDS, before his pilgrimage to Mecca, Umm Al-Qura, the mother of all cities.
