The purpose of this manual, Department of the Army Pamphlet DA PAM 600-8 Military Human Resources Management Administrative Procedures May 2019, is to provide guidance to military human resources (HR) support offices and supported units in the areas of internal organizational structure, functional responsibilities, and operational procedures applicable to the military HR support office. This manual, Army Regulation AR 25-2 Information Management: Army Cybersecurity April 2019, establishes the Army Cybersecurity Program and sets forth the mission, responsibilities, and policies to ensure uniform implementation of public law and Office of Management and Budget, Committee on National Security Systems, and Department of Defense issuances for protecting and safeguarding Army information technology, to include the Army-managed portion of the Department of Defense Information Network, (hereafter referred to as information technology) and information in electronic format (hereafter referred to as information). Information technology includes infrastructure, services, and applications used directly by the Army or for the Army by legal agreements or other binding contracts. This regulation applies to the Regular Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, to include all Headquarters, Department of the Army staff, Army commands, Army Service component commands, direct reporting units, all other Army agencies, and all personnel, authorized users and privileged users, unless otherwise stated. It applies to all Army information technology and information in electronic format at all classification levels; and Special Access Program and Sensitive Activity information systems except when handling sensitive compartmented information. Nothing in this regulation alters or supersedes the existing authorities and policies of the Department of Defense or the Director of National Intelligence regarding the protection of sensitive compartmented information as directed by Executive Order 12333. The Director of National Intelligence has delegated authority for all Army Sensitive Compartmented Information systems to the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2.

101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Gold Book - February 2019 Air Assault Handbook. The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) has a long and rich heritage. As the world’s only functional Air Assault Division, the 101st Airborne has pioneered the development of Air Assault tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs). These tactics were quantifiably demonstrated in 1991 during Operation Desert Storm and most recently during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. We are currently at war with dangerous and adaptive terrorist forces in complex environments. Simultaneously, the Division must remain poised to confront peer threats on a conventional battlefield. In response, the Division continually refines its TTPs, exploiting our unique capabilities to defeat our nation’s enemies. References such as FM 3-99 Airborne and Air Assault Operations capture basic Air Assault Doctrine. These manuals’ currency fluctuates in the changing environment and do not often capture the required level of detail. Therefore, the Gold Book serves to describe those TTPs unique to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). It is intended to be a “how-to” guide for those serving in the Division and those modular units who will be employed with the Division in training and combat operations. The Gold Book retains a focus on brigade and battalion air assault task forces. To address the demands of current operations, information on smaller scale air assaults and supporting operations is included. Regardless of echelon, the fundamentals of air assault planning and execution remain the same and are based on air assault doctrine. FM 3-99 Airborne and Air Assault Operations and the baseline skills taught in The Sabalauski Air Assault School. The Gold Book also addresses the role of aviation brigades and their supporting relationship to the Air Assault Task Force Commander (AATFC).Within the Screaming Eagles, familiarity and proficiency with the Gold Book standards are critical for this Division to perform air assault operations routinely both in training and combat. Regular reviews of the Gold Book ensure incorporation of wartime lessons learned and changes in Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership &amp; Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) related to air assault operations. This manual, Army Techniques Publication ATP 3-20.15 MCRP 3-10B.1 Tank Platoon July 2019, encompasses techniques for tank platoons of armored brigade combat teams (ABCTs). It replaces ATP 3-20.15, published in December 2012. ATP 3-20.15/MCRP 3-10B.1 provides doctrinal guidance; describes relationships in the platoon; defines organizational roles and functions, capabilities, limitations; and lay outs the responsibilities for platoons during unified land operations. The tank platoon is a unified team; all tanks crews work together to achieve mission success. A single tank can be vulnerable in the face of diverse battlefield hazards, such as enemy forces or unfavorable terrain and situations. These vulnerabilities are significantly reduced when tanks are employed as platoons. The tank platoon requires bold, aggressive, resourceful, and adaptive leaders—leaders of character, competence and commitment—who are willing to accept prudent risks to accomplish the mission. This publication addresses the significant changes in Army doctrinal terminology, constructs and proven tactics, techniques, and procedures.

This manual, Army Techniques Publication ATP 4-02.2 Medical Evacuation July 2019, provides doctrine and techniques for conducting medical evacuation and medical regulating operations. Medical evacuation encompasses both the evacuation of Soldiers from the point of injury or wounding to a medical treatment facility staffed and equipped to provide essential care in theater and further evacuation from the theater to provide definitive, rehabilitative, and convalescent care in the continental United States and the movement of patients between medical treatment facilities or to staging facilities. Medical evacuation entails the movement of patients on dedicated ground and air ambulances, medically staffed and equipped to provide en route medical care; supports the military health system; and links the continuum of care. In addition, it discusses the difference between medical evacuation and casualty evacuation as well as coordination requirements for and the use of nonmedical transportation assets to accomplish the casualty evacuation mission. The principal audience for this publication is all commanders and their staffs, command surgeons, Army health systems planners, Army Medical Department personnel and units involved in medical evacuation operations.The Army Health System is a complex system of interrelated and interdependent systems which provides a continuum of medical treatment from the point of injury or wounding through successive roles of medical care to definitive, rehabilitative, and convalescent care in the continental United States, as required. Medical evacuation is the system which provides the vital linkage between the roles of care necessary to sustain the patient during transport. This is accomplished by providing en route medical care and emergency medical intervention, if required, to enhance the individual's prognosis and reduce long-term disability. Army Techniques Publication 4-02.2 contains six chapters and four appendices as follows: Chapter 1 provides an overview of Army Health System and how medical evacuation relates to the principles of the Army Health System. It discusses the purpose, primary tasks, and attributes of the Army medical evacuation system. It also defines the differences between medical evacuation and casualty evacuation. Chapter 2 discusses the employment of medical evacuation resources and the coordination and synchronization required to effectively execute medical evacuation operations. This includes the medical evacuation request process, consideration for evacuation missions, support planning considerations, and evacuation in specific environments. Chapter 3 describes the mission, function and capabilities of medical evacuation units and elements as specified in the unit's table of organization and equipment. It also discusses the mission command headquarters to which they are assigned. Chapter 4 discusses the factors that establish the evacuation policy and the impact of the evacuation policy on Army Health System support. Chapter 5 provides insight and considerations into developing the operational and tactical medical evacuation plan that supports the combatant commander's mission. Chapter 6 describes the medical regulating system designed to ensure the efficient and safe movement of regulated patients to the appropriate military treatment facility by the most effective means. It also discusses the multi-Service responsibility and assets used to conduct this mission. Appendix A provides a summary of the Geneva Conventions and The Law of War. Appendix B provides an example of a medical evacuation plan as part of an operations order. Appendix C provides an example of the 9-line medical evacuation request format. Appendix D provides examples of medical evacuation during operations to shape, prevent, large-scale combat operations, and to consolidate gains.
