Ligatur um denselben, Abtragung; die Incarcerationserscheinungen lassen nach, Heilung. Anna II., bei der Aufnahme 24 Jahre alt, hat seit ihrer ersten Schwangerschaft im 20. Jahre stechende Schmerzen in der linken Seite des Unterleibes. Am 5. Juli 1866 im Bauche heftige Schmerzen, die sich am 6. und 7. Juli besserten, so dass Pat., wenn auch mit Anstrengung, noch arbeitete; am 8. Juli musste sie sich legen, es trat Brechneigung ein, doch war am 9. noch ein Stuhlgang durch ein Klysma zu erzielen. Patientin wurde am 11. Juli in's Spital aufgenommen. Diagnose: Kleiner, eingeklemmter Cruralbruch links, starker Meteorismus. Taxisversuche ohne Erfolg. Der sehr dicke und gerothete Bruchsack mit engem Lumen ist leer. Unterbindung und Amputation desselben. Heilung. Susanna ., 68 Jahre alt, hat seit 10 Jahren eine kleine Geschwulst in der linken Schenkelbeuge. Aehnliche Erscheinungen wie im vorigen Falle. Ganz gleiche Operation am 16. Mai 1866. Heilung. Juditha M., 50 Jahre, aufgenommen 13. September 1861 hat, so lange sie denken kann, eine kleine Schenkelhernie links, die stets reponibel war; sie hat nie ein Bruchband getragen. 4 Tage vor der Aufnahme wird die Bruchgeschwulst schmerzhaft, massige Incarcerationserscheinungen; Taxis gelingt nicht. Bruchschnitt; nach Spaltung des Bruchsackes entleert sich 1 Essloffel dunner Eiter (Hernia purulenta), kein weiteres Contentum. Heilung. Caspar G., 32 Jahre, ist seit mehren Jahren...
