Since Jim's first visit down at the bay at the end of 25th road, Jim got hooked on the adventures that would forever bring him back to the water. Jim lived an adventure that any young person would dream of. Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer had nothing on Jim. The photo on the cover is the sailboat that Jim's father built in their back yard. The "PRINCESS" carries Jim and friends on many adventures. The book ends with Jim now 15 years returning from an adventure of a lifetime.The Author was born and raised in Miami Florida. He was taught to swim, sail and work at a very young age. Jim wasn't interested in school, only adventure. He dream of one day sailing to the Bahamas, since then he has made that trip many times. Jim's Grandfather Paul, had worked alongside of Henry Flagler until they had completed the railroad down to Key West. Jim's Grandfather Paul met and married a Key West school teacher named Mary Kemp. Mary Kemp was born on Harbor Island, Bahamas. Jim's Father Paul was born on Key West where he also lived and dreamed adventure. Seems after several wives and eight children Jim has finally settled down and has started writing books.

This book starts with the reading of Montibelli's will. During the Shah's rein of Iran (1941-1979), Montilelli had been the Shah's Top General. Everything in the will is left to Jim. In the will, there is where to find a map of the Shah's Treasures that we're lost at sea while on a barge being tugged to Nassau. The barge had been attacked by the PLO's Yasser Arafat. Jim was interested in the map, however within the list of Montibelli's stocks, Jim noticed a familiar stock's name that he had seen once before. The stock "Summa Technologiae" (sum of technology) was also a stock that Pearl had come to Jim with. Before the start of the Gulf War, the Israeli's approach Jim to use his C-130s equipped with TESS to protect the Kuwait border from a Hussein attack. Jim denies the Israeli request but after Hussein's invasion of Kuwait, Jim gets an unexpected visit by the Saudi's Royal Prince. The Saudi Prince brings Jim a gift that Jim recognizes as part of Pearl's heritage. Jim agrees to send TESS to assist in protecting the Saudi Arabia border from a Hussein air attack. After the war, the Saudi's invite Jim to share in their find of a once lost city of gold. Gold is not the only thing found at the site.

At the request of the President, Jim makes his first visit to the White House. The President tells Jim of his concern with the belief, that the deterrence to a Nuclear War was the complete destruction of mankind. The President requested Jim to take the lead in a Top Secret project that could provide an alternative. From Jim's first interactions with the government, he has a sense of mistrust. Jim's old friend Bob tells Jim he is playing with fire.While diving the cave that runs under the U.S. Navy's secret base on Andros Island, Jim's ex-navy seals find evidence of someone or thing that was much more advanced than we are. Among other items, the divers locate a door within the cave's side wall that, once inside, opens up a new world of technology. Jim uses these technologies to recover a sphere that was lying on the bottom of the TOTO channel.

The True Meaning of Trouble

The CIA notifies JIM that Castro has sent his most decorated Brigade of soldiers into Nicaragua to, once and for all, destroy the CIA-backed Mercenaries that are training and supplying arms to the Contras. Led by Fernando, Jim still has a small group of his Black Devils in the southeastern tip of Nicaragua. Jim orders Fernando to move his group into Costa Rica. Fernando wants to give the Cubans a fight. With Fernando's refusal to retreat, Jim requests assistance from the Colonel in the form of a few water mines that Jim, using his two C-130s and TESS, will place to block any possible retreat by the Cubans. Jim then delivers additional men and supplies to Fernando's small group. The fight is on! A CIA surveillance plane had mechanical problems and had crashed on the north side of the battle between the Contras and the Cubans. One of the CIA pilots survived and was captured by the Sandinistas and coerced into supplying information that the CIA was covertly selling arms to Iran, using that money to supply mercenaries and arms to the Contras. According to U.S. Law, supplying assistance to the Contras and selling arms to Iran we're both illegal. On top of being illegal, the CIA informer had claimed that only a small part of the funds from the sales of arms was actually reaching the Contras. A large chunk of the money was being diverted into the accounts of high-ranking officers of the U.S. Military. Jim is subpoenaed and gives testimony before a sub-committee on the Iran-Contra affair. While Jim is testing the waters on how his group can fight the drug traffic being air shipped into Panama from Columbia's Pablo Escobar. Jim is approached by Montibelli to do away with Saddam Hussein's chemical weapons factory and stockpiles. Jim is swayed by the photos of Iran's women and children grossly killed by Hussein's chemical use.
