This book consists of 33 case studies, each followed by 4 to 5 questions with answers. There are 9 chapters, which follow the clinical chapters (15-23) of the parent textbook, so that the main diseases mentioned in the textbook are covered by a case study. Each case study is cross-referenced to the relevant pages in the parent text. A glossary of immunological terms is also included. The book is designed as an auxilliary text to be bought with the main textbook. It can also stand on its own, as each case study is complete with full answers to the questions, but the cases do refer the reader to the main textbook, and its main role is to complement and support the textbook, supplying high quality clinical cases written specifically for this level of readership.
