It is also a piece of three testimonies, so far, and perhaps many more to come. Children come to Jesus full of hope and belief. He told us that we should do as they do. Funny, how often we want them to follow our example. His ways are certainly higher than ours. I told this story to my daughter as a bedtime story, to ease her worries, and as I began the words became effortless. It is about my daughter and woven through it are things that she intimately knows and realizes are uniquely hers. However, eight years later, my daughter would be the one to point out the illustrator of her story, a woman whose past was unknown to us, very much known to God and perfect for His purpose in this endeavor. “All things work for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.” –Romans 8:28
