The European Union: Readings on the Theory and Practice of European Integration

Designed for classroom use, this anthology introduces and places in context a selection of contributions to our understanding of the European Union. From the world of politics, the voices of Winston Churchill, Robert Schuman, Jean Monnet, Charles de Gaulle, Margaret Thatcher and Jacques Delors present their visions - often conflicting - of a united Europe.
