Art and sport are inseparable parts of contemporary culture. There is no way to escape their presence in everyday life. Yet, they are frequently seen unconnected or even as the opposed elements of the culture. This research examines the possible contacts between art and sport in contemporary culture. It makes an inquiry of them as practices, systems and habits of action in order to analyse their connections. The study uses a humanistic approach employing various disciplines as well as artistic methods for probing the subject.
