Racism is widespread and deeply rooted in Western Europe and the economic and social lives of minorities are often seriously affected by discriminatory treatment. With this background in mind, Urban Renewal, Ethnicity and Social Exclusion in Europe is a stocktaking of our current knowledge of the impact of urban renewal policies on the social exclusion of ethnic minorities in six European Countries.
