Excerpt from Notes on Epistles of St. Paul: From Unpublished CommentariesThe above explanation applies to the notes on the Two Epistles to the Thessalonians, and on the first seven chapters (for no more is here published) of the First Epistle to the Corinthians and of the Epistle to the Romans. In the case of the fragment of the Epistle to the Ephesians (eph. I. 1 - 14) no qualification is necessary; for in this case the Bishop's manuscript is written out fully, just as he intended it for publication in his contemplated edition of that Epistle.
