This book was written secretly by an orphan girl in the early 1900s), Macmillan, NY. 183 pages. Beautiful b&w illustrations. Jane Boulton found this diary 70 years after it was written and was unable to trace the author's whereabouts or obituary. While she was preparing this adaptation, she finally found Opal living in St. Albans, England, and flew to England, where the two ladies finally met.
