<p>I made two trips to Australia in the early 70's. The first was March of 1971 for 5 months and the second was October 1972 for 2 years. The first trip I landed in Sydney, NSW. We bought a car and traveled North to Coolangatta, Queensland. My second trip I called Byron Bay, NSW my home. I surfed most of the surf spots between Angourie, NSW and Noosa, QLD. Fourty-three ago Byron Bay is not the same community that exists today, The back to nature laid back life style was the popular way to live outside the big cities.</p>

October 7, 2014. It has been 40 years this month I returned from Australia. Bob, Peter, Dennis and I still talk about all of our adventures and all the people we met in our travels. Its fun to laugh about how we each see events differently. The bond that is made from traveling would be similar to friends you would make attending a University or being part of a sports team. I would like to travel to Australia one more time and add another chapter to this story. Brian
