After years of collecting, recipes from all the different countries I lived and worked, as a Registered Nurse, I decided to publish them as they are unique and unavailable elsewhere. All the recipes have been adapted to our taste. I feel that every cook should tailor to their own cultivated palate. Don't be afraid to improvise; it will delight you and your guests. My husband has been very supportive and has added his own and family's recipes to the collection. He had to taste and taste again until it was just right. I grew up in the Netherlands and have resided in Switzerland, Belgium, Wisconsin and Florida. I find that the recipes change with the climates as well as the countries. Cooking is something we enjoy and I know that this book will be an enjoyment to you and others.
