It was not until I found myself in an abusive failing marriage, nonexistent career, depleted financial state and my mind severely emotionally in crisis that I realized I had been merely surviving all my life. Extremely suicidal with no vision of hope I began seeking answers and help outside my comfort zone. I came across the writings of Goessoftly. In conflicting excitement I wept and rejoiced at the same time. You hurt My Hurt seemed to have been written about me and just for me. Her delicately interlaced words of wisdom, compassion and deep perceptive familiarity of the unrelentless trauma that emotional, physical and sexual abuse holds is remarkable.
