First section contains all accredited & traditional colleges-universities.  Second section contains all bona fide, state approved, state authorities but unaccredited colleges-universities with an addendum on schools to avoid. The directory is THE perfect consumer protection guide & reference tool to academicians, librarians, career guidance counselors, private & public sectors."  The directory explains the laws & requirements established by each state for operating postsecondary institutions & granting degrees at all levels, as directly transmitted by state authorities to the author.  States' communiques included all recognized universities, credit transfers & institutions authorized or approved to issue degrees under particular provisions.  The directory includes approximately 8,600 entries, all United States colleges-universities, accrediting agencies, state's authorities, laws-regulations on postsecondary education.</p>
