This new edition of a 1964 assessment of Dylan Thomas' religious poetry by Aneirin Talfin Davies called "Dylan: Druid of the Broken Body," is a response to the critique of Davies' original book. In the 1977 edition, the author seeks to reassert the his belief in Dylan Thomas as a religious poet. In this re-issue, Davies added a "lecture on the influence of Welsh prosidy on some English poets, as well as a poet like Dylan, who is Welsh, but uses English as his medium." This quote is from the introduction to the 1977 edition.
