This book contains the proceedings of the First International Conference on Waste Management, one of the key problems of the modern world. 
As our awareness of the detrimental environmental effects of current waste disposal grows there is a significant need for more research on current methods such as landfill, incineration, chemical and effluent treatment and also on recycling, waste minimization, clean technologies, waste monitoring, public and corporate awareness and general education.
