<p>The Architect's Geometry is an expanded and revised edition off Geometry for Architects by G. Wilson, D. M. Holladay, W. L. Shick and S. E. Shapiro, all of the University of Illinois. Originally published in 1962 and revised in 1975, Geometry for Architects and its accompanying workbooks have helped thousands of students learn the basic principles of architectural geometry. This book is an introduction to the drawing of architecture. Architectural designs are communicated through drawings. These drawings explain not only the material composition and configuration of a proposed project, they allow the observer to begin to understand the spatial intentions of the designer. The ability of drawings to communicate more than facts, to communicate intentions and underlying meaning, adds to their complexity and at times to their ambiguity.</p>
