<p>This book is the second volume of a dictionary of technical terms from Hindu tantric literature which are not mentioned in the usual Sanskrit dictionaries. Like the first one, published in the year 2000 by the Verlag der Osterreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften, it presents translations of the Sanskrit terms into French, English and German, explanations of their meaning and usage in one of the three mentioned languages, and references from Saivistic and Vai??avistic texts. Apart from the editors, the authors are D. Goodall, T. Goudriaan, M. Rastelli and J. Torzsok. Further contributors are Ch. Bouy, G. Colas, M. Czerniak-Drozdzowicz and R. Torella. Besides brief introductory comments by the editors and corrections and additions concerning the first volume, this volume contains around 730 entries on words beginning with the letters k to ? of the Sanskrit alphabet. Three further volumes are planned.</p>
