 Peter Treadgold (1943-2005) was the creator of Astro and Astrofire, the computer programs he designed and wrote for research into Astrosophy. The programs are used by many researchers around the world, and Astrofire is a particularly far-reaching creation, opening up extraordinary possibilities for research. It contains a database of birth and death dates of historical personalities, as well as a star catalog with more than 4,000 stars. There is also an article by Wain Farrants and Robert Powell continuing the discussion of the house systems in astrology begun by Brian Gray in the 2012 issue. Kevin Dann focuses on the 33-1/3 -year rhythm, and Lacquanna Paul has written about Divine Sophia in relation to the zodiac. Brian Gray contributed an article on his discovery of the zodiac in the Raphael Madonna series as arranged by Rudolf Steiner. The monthly commentaries for 2013 by Claudia McLaren Lainson are preceded by her article on the Jupiter-Pluto opposition in 2013. The commentaries are supported by monthly astronomical previews provided by Sally Nurney, offering opportunities to physically observe and experience the stellar configurations during 2013. This dissertation explores how the body?s movement in spatial orientation may play an influential role in the dis-ordering tendencies of personality. The somatic psychodiagnostic approach to personality presented in this dissertation advances the case for a more rigorous examination of the body/psyche dynamic in the formation, assessment, and treatment of personality issues. The hypothesis of this study is that stimulation of the motor/sensory system in movements through various spatial planes substantially impacts perceptions of self, others, and the world. These perceptions form the basis of the evolving personality. Rather than viewing personality as a set of fixed traits, personality is viewed as a state of consciousness on a continuum of adaptations to self, others, and the world. Research findings of this study with 70 research participants indicate that fixations in movement correlate with fixations in personality. In this schema a causal comparative relation between 12 fixated spatial orientations and 12 clinically recognized personality disorders is demonstrated in matrix, tabular, and textual formats.
