This book was the first publication to collect the drawings of the gifted American fashion illustrator, Antonio Lopez. The illustrations, in brilliant color and bold black and white, span the years 1973 to 1981 and range from posters and advertisements for major department and specialty stores around the world to drawings for Vanity magazine and the international Vogues. Many of the images are now recognized throughout the world as fashion classics. Also included are some of the dramatic and intricate fantasy pictures for which Antonio's private work is known -- stylized shoes, transformations of fashion personalities into shoes and animals, streams of glossy ribbons wrapping heads and objects - as well as interviews with Pat Cleveland, Jerry Hall, Grace Jones, Jessica Lange and Tina Chow.
