World of Books - Sell Your Books
World of Books - Sell Your Books Reviews
Comment: Quick and easy process, no hassle at all. Easily the top service out there — miles ahead of the competition!
Comment: I am a teacher, and I ordered 20 Hunger Games books for my class. Then, 20 Esperanza Rising books were delivered instead. I got a refund, and I ordered the books again, because I still needed them and this was the best deal I could find. You would think that'd be the end of the story. They delivered 20 Esperanza Rising books today. Again. This is absurd. Please never order from World of Books.
Comment: This company is really a SCAM. I sold my books to them, and its over 2 weeks now, i have not gotten paid. They claim to have sent the payment 5days ago, but i have not received anything. I have sent them so many mails, and even asked them to send me the transaction receipt, but they have not sent anything. This company is a scam, and i would never advice anyone to trade with them.
Comment: Criminal. Submitted a pristine condition, $300+ value textbook. Was told it was damaged, that it would be recycled immediately. Did not receive the book back, nor any value from it. This website is literally stealing from students who are just trying to earn back a fraction of the thousands of $$ we have to spend on books. Take your books elsewhere.
Comment: The compensation offered by World of Books. Com does not justify the effort required to package and ship items to postal services. With 20 books in my cart, the offered amount of $20.00 was deemed insufficient. This sentiment will likely be echoed frequently on social media and reviews regarding your book buying prices. The disparity between the low prices paid to sellers and the high prices at which books are sold is striking, with sellers earning minimal profits while your company generates significant revenue.
Comment: I sent a order long time a go but they didn't get any payment to my account after about sent 10 emails for customer service they said account is on the investigation
Comment: The change to World of Books has been alarming and this new iteration of sellbackyourbook has an ongoing pattern of larceny! Do yourself a favor and do not sell your books to this company if you want to get paid. THEIVES would be a much more appropriate name for this company.
Comment: This is not the trusted Sellbackyour book company. A solid buyback company I had success with for many years. Oh no, this is WOB formerly Ziffit. So, they are “stealing”, I mean rejecting an undamaged book after only a couple of buybacks. They don’t even bother saying why it’s being rejected. You have to figure that out yourself. There will not be a second theft, highly unrecommended.
Comment: I love this place! They sell books for cheaper price, and they also buy any of your unwanted books. I am really into spirituality books so I go here to look for them since Barnes & Noble don't really sell a lot.
Comment: Books with higher values are "rejected" without any evidence that the copies do not meet standards. The pattern includes brand new, unused copies. They protect themselves by immediately "recycling" the copies and refusing payment.
