Comment: This company is good at communicating with you if there is an issue with your buyback. I mailed in 2 loose leaf textbooks, and I had used the wrong isbn for one of them. I got an email from mybookcart explaining the problem, and they also sent a picture of the correct isbn. They gave me an updated offer, and they sent payment a few days later.

Comment: I have used quite a few buyback companies to sell books, and I have never had a problem selling to mybookcart. They are fair with their offers and have always issued payment. I would recommend payment by PayPal as their check payments do take a little longer to arrive.

Comment: Probably the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor. They rejected the book they received from me. In their email, they stated that if I wanted it shipped back, to contact them. Three days went by and they didn't respond. I filed a claim with BBB. They finally responded and wanted $12.99 for the return of one book. They also rejected another order and instead of combining those together, they charged $14.99 for the other order.

Comment: It didn't take too long to get my payment after they received my books. I had a good experience and would use them again for sure.

Comment: MyBookCart claimed the book we sent them did not appear to be an authentic, publisher-published title, and since they could not verify the authenticity, they would not be purchasing the book. This is the first time using them and first time we've had trouble selling a book purchased at a book store to any online vendor. Before selling and shipping to MyBookCart you should understand how to confirm the book you are selling is authentic, and published by the publisher. Even then, if they believe it's not authentic, there's no sale. After 7 business days from when they received the book via USPS, we had to reach out asking for a status update. They did respond within 24 hrs.

Comment: Sent in my books and received payment into my paypal account about 3 days after they received them. Good experience. Will use again.

Comment: MyBookCart claimed that the textbook we sent in was damaged (cover, spine & binding). They sent photos, but we do not believe that those were of our book. This was a test book to check out this service, as we had not used them before. The single book was in very good condition and was packaged very securely with adequate packaging. Under normal shipping, no damage to the book would have occurred. If the packaging was damaged, it should be documented; however, none of the photos that MyBookCart shared included any of our packaging. Has anyone else experienced this?

Comment: Had no issues with using mybookcart to sell back my textbook. Got email updates and was paid the correct amount.

Comment: First time using Mybookcart to sell my books, and my experience was great. My books were in very good condition, and I had no issues with payment. Check arrived a little over a week after I got the email they received my books.

Comment: Easy and love that they have PayPal payment no waiting for a check!
