Text Book of Microbiology

Despite significant progress in microbiology in recent years microbial agents still play a vital role in dieseases both in the developing and developed countries. Some infections such as cholera typhoid tuberculosism leprosy etc. are more important to tropical ccountries than industrialised countries which has been given due consideration when the manuscript was being prepared. The book is primarily intended for undergraduate medical students but it will also provide a firm grounding in the understanding of infection and its control for the post graduate students microbiologists as well as the practising physicians.
