A Sight of Archaic Chinese Buildings Celebrating Chinese Architecture and Traditions 7 Volumes

To give full introduction of Chinese architectural features, six cultural regions of representative are chosen, including northern region, Jiangnan region, Sichuan region, Lingnan region, Mintai region and southwestern region. Buildings in these six regions are put in comparison to show highlights and differences between detailed designs. Through architectural details, you can have a sight of archaic Chinese buildings and enjoy the charming Chinese style architecture.Three photographers were sent out to 18 provinces, 4 directly governed cities, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. It took them almost 3 years to take photos of about 200 archaic buildings in full coverage. Those buildings include places of historical sites and large numbers of folk houses, courtyard dwellings and villages that show strong local tradition and culture.
