Only in the Philippines - An American Doctor remembers

Attracted at an early age to the field of medicine by the famous Dr. Albert Schweitzer, Robert C. Turner from North Carolina becomes a successful physician. Together with his wife Melinda, a nurse from the Philippines, as well as some other expatriate Filipino colleagues, he joins a non-profit organization which goes on medical missions to the island state in the western Pacific Ocean yearly. Dr. Turner keeps a journal of each of these trips. In this book, he remembers his experiences in the Philippines. Turner, MD is a retired internist from Greenville, NC, USA. He has participated in numerous Medical Missions to the Philippines in the past 20 years.
