This book was truly a calling from God. Dara was working with Lynda Sunshine on another book when the idea for this book came to her. She pitched the idea, and She Is an Overcomer was born.\nEvery person has their own unique life experiences as well as their own struggles and triumphs. The 31 women in this book prove that. They share their stories in their own words and from a place of vulnerability. These are the real stories of real women who have lived through challenges that many people may or may not have faced at some point in their lives. For some of these women, writing was a form of therapy, while, for others, it was difficult as it caused them to relive traumatic experiences.\nWhen we brought together this amazing group of women, we wanted to be sure that we did not limit the types of stories that were being told. There could be a woman out there thinking that she is alone and that no one could understand how she felt. She could feel like there is no hope for her.
