About the Author
Rita Blitt’s dynamic body of work is distinguished by the sense of joy expressed through her pieces— sculpture, paintings, drawings, video, and more. Her work has been showcased in more than seventy solo exhibitions and is in many museum and private collections; her sculptures, some of them as tall as sixty feet, can be found throughout the U.S. and in Japan, Singapore, Israel and Australia. The Rita Blitt Gallery and Sculpture Garden was established at the Mulvane Art Museum in 2017, housing her Legacy Collection.
