Fanny Price, a young girl from a poor family, had come to live with her wealthy relatives in Mansfield Park. She was then raised among her cousins, who treat her as if she were inferior to them. Later, siblings Harry and Mary Crawford come to Mansfield Park to stay with their sister. They disrupt the town's conservative way of life by causing a chain of romantic intrigues, and Fanny and her cousins find themselves embroiled in these affairs.
