Stroke (186C): Early Stages of Recovery

Statistics gathered by the American Heart Association show that about 700,000 people experience a new or repeating stroke every year. Survivors and their loved ones need an informative and compassionate reference to help them understand this condition. Stroke: Early Stages of Recovery explains the causes of a stroke, as well as how it affects a person physically, mentally and emotionally. In addition, the appendix includes brain diagrams, risk factors, warning signs and resources.
